Milk and Honey Picnics is a Vaucluse picnic styling business run by founder Vicki Ryvchin, who grew up around her family's restaurant and catering businesses. The team delivers and styles picnic setups in parks, on beaches, in homes, gardens, offices and private venues, then comes back to pack everything away. Groups run from two people to roughly 200, and the setups suit birthdays, baby and bridal showers, proposals, kids parties and corporate days. The core packages are priced per person and cover set-up and use of everything for a set time. Casual Luxe (3 hours, from $40 per person, minimum $500) uses rugs, cushions, rattan side tables and ottomans. Luxe (3 hours, $60 per person for 10 or more) adds low handmade timber tables, linen, crockery and cutlery. Garden Party (3 hours, $70 per person, minimum $600) is the seated version with standard-height tables and chairs. There is also Junior Luxe for kids, Luxe for 2 at $385 with a cheese board, Proposal Perfection at $650 and dinner-party table styling at $40 per person. Milk and Honey Grazing, the in-house grazing arm, does flat-lay and staged grazing tables, boards and boxes, and full brunch and lunch menus come through a catering partner. Food and drinks sit on top of the set-up price, and prices exclude GST. Travel charges can apply, some public parks need council permits, and every outdoor booking needs a wet-weather backup, which the team can help find. A $500 deposit secures the date, with the balance due a week out. Add-ons include fresh flowers, balloon garlands, shade umbrellas, games, a coffee cart and craft activities, and corporate groups can book charity picnics where teams make gifts for children in hospital.
