About Event Hire Services
Event Hire Services was started in 2013 by Barrie, Paul and Scott, and works out of an office and warehouse in Frenchs Forest on Sydney's northern beaches. Most people know it as a large furniture and decor hire house, but the team also designs and produces event signage: media walls for product launches, custom vinyl, branded installations and printed backdrops, each made for the job rather than taken off a shelf. For a party or wedding, the stock range covers most needs. Black or white metal sign-holder frames can carry a welcome board or seating plan, easels come in wood, iron, aluminium and clear acrylic, there is a curved geometric backdrop, and small clear table signs are there to write on yourself. Because the same warehouse holds lounges, bars, dining tables, chairs, linen, glassware and lamps, signage can go on the same order as everything else, and the in-house stylists can run a consultation, build mood boards and put together a full hire proposal if you want help. Their own trucks and crew handle delivery, installation and pack-down. They cover all of Greater Sydney, including the northern beaches, North Shore, eastern suburbs and western Sydney, and travel to the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands. They hold preferred-supplier status at venues including Machine Hall and North Bondi Surf Club. Custom signage and media walls are priced per job, so send artwork, sizes and your date early; stock items can be added to a quote request through the website.

Can Event Hire Services make custom signage for a party or launch?
Yes. As well as stock sign frames and easels, the team designs custom pieces such as media walls, vinyl applications, branded installations and printed backdrops. These are priced per job, so include your artwork, sizes and event date when you enquire.
What do sign frames and easels cost to hire?
The black or white metal sign-holder frames, roughly 1.8m tall, are listed at $110. Easels run from $27.50 for aluminium to $165 for clear acrylic, with wood and iron versions at $33, and clear DIY table signs are $5.50 each. Custom signage is quoted separately.
Do they deliver and set up?
Yes. A dedicated logistics team with its own vehicles delivers, installs and packs down, and they work regularly at venues such as the ICC, Carriageworks, Doltone House and The Ivy.
Which areas do they cover?
All of Greater Sydney from the Frenchs Forest warehouse, plus the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Newcastle, the Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands. Longer trips to Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane are also on their list.
