About Fiona's Floral Designs
Fiona Stellino runs Fiona's Floral Designs from her studio in Mays Hill, Western Sydney. She was a primary school teacher before moving into floristry, and holds a Certificate III in the trade. Her work is custom flowers and styling for weddings and events, reaching from Wollongong and the Southern Highlands up through Greater Sydney and the Blue Mountains to the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley. Pieces range from hand-tied bouquets and centrepieces to large statement installations, and each design starts from your colour scheme and venue rather than a fixed menu. There's a $3,000 minimum spend on flowers, and every job is priced separately after a free consultation, held by phone, over Zoom or at the studio. Fiona also hires out styling items, including candelabras and candles, table numbers, arbours, plinths and stands, urns, easels, sign frames, vases and wishing well suitcases, so both the ceremony and the reception can be styled in the same booking. There are two photo booths, a full-length mirror booth with a concealed DSLR and an LED selfie booth, each offered in three, four and five hour packages. An audio guestbook phone is $150, and Bubbly Bouquets workshops start at $130, popular with hens groups, birthdays, girls' nights and workplaces. Email enquiries get a reply within 24 to 48 hours, and within seven days you receive a quote, a written outline of the styling and a mood board. Service Details
Florals and styling are delivered and set up at the venue at the agreed time, and the team returns afterwards to collect hire items and dispose of unwanted florals, which carries a bump-out fee. Ceremony florals can be reset for the reception for an added fee where there is enough time between the two.
Hire stock covers candles and tea light holders, candelabras, table numbers, wishing well suitcases, arbours, stands and plinths, urns, easels, signage frames and vases. Photo booth packages include an attendant, unlimited photo sessions, printed 6x2 or 6x4 strips, a prop box, a customised template, all high-resolution images via Google Drive, SMS sharing, free delivery in Sydney metro, and set-up and removal.
Workshops run for two and a half to three hours for four to ten people at the studio, or larger groups at a venue you choose, with all tools provided, a glass of bubbly and snacks on arrival, and everyone taking their arrangement home.
