About Moments and Memories Events
Moments and Memories Events is a Sydney entertainment company run by Martini and Marina, a married couple who were playing music and running photo booths at parties for a few years before they launched the business in 2019. The idea was to save hosts from juggling several suppliers, so a single booking can now cover the DJ, the photo booth and the special effects, with the pair and their crew handling the timing between them. Weddings make up much of their calendar, alongside corporate functions, milestone birthdays and other private celebrations. The DJ service comes with a sound system scaled to the size of the room, a cordless microphone for speeches and lighting for the dance floor. Before the day there is a free planning call by phone or Zoom, where you can send through must-play songs and flag anything to avoid, and on the night the DJ reads the crowd and takes requests unless you ask for them not to. Setting up and packing down happen outside your booked hours. The photo booth is an open-air style with an attendant for the whole booking, unlimited sessions, two printed 2x6 inch strips per round of photos, a template designed around your event, props, a choice of backdrops and a guest album for messages, with every image uploaded to a private online gallery. The effects are what many couples add on. Dry ice lays a thick carpet of fog across the dance floor for up to about six minutes, cold-spark fountains give the look of indoor fireworks, and CO2 cannons can kick off an entrance or the last song. There is also an audio guestbook, a vintage-style phone guests leave voice messages on that comes with a retro speaker for playback, a lighting service with moving heads, uplights, lasers and spotlights delivered with partner Wedding AV Sydney, and claw machines that can be stocked with plush toys or branded prizes. Four packages bundle these together, from a DJ and photo booth pairing up to a full set with effects and a custom light show.

What is included when we book a Moments and Memories DJ?
Each DJ booking includes a sound system sized for your venue, a cordless microphone at no extra cost, dance floor lighting and a free planning session by phone or Zoom. Set-up and pack-down are done outside your booked time, and the DJ will take requests on the night unless you would rather they did not.
How is pricing worked out?
Prices are not published. Moments and Memories quotes each event based on its type, size and the services you choose, and can shape a package to fit a set budget. The four standard packages start with a DJ and photo booth and build up to dry ice, indoor fireworks, CO2 cannons and a custom light show.
How do the dry ice and indoor fireworks work?
The dry ice machine produces a low fog that stays below knee height, so it looks like you are dancing on a cloud, and a single burst can run for up to about six minutes. The cold-spark fountains give a fireworks look indoors, and the operator times them to the song you choose.
How much room does the photo booth need?
Allow a floor area of at least 2.5 by 2.5 metres. The booth can go outdoors as long as it sits on level ground under cover, out of the wind, sun and rain. Guests get two prints each time they step in, and the full set of photos goes into a password-protected online gallery within seven business days.
Do they travel outside Sydney, and how early should we book?
The team is based in Sydney and covers the whole metro area, and will travel further afield, including the Hunter Valley, for an added travel fee. Booking three to six months ahead is recommended, and a date is secured with a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer.
