About JJK Entertainment
JJK Entertainment is a Sydney DJ and MC company run by Jim Voulinos, better known as DJ Jimmy V, and it has been playing events since 1998. The team has been an ABIA wedding award finalist twice and has played more than 50 Sydney venues, from the Opera House and Taronga Zoo to Doltone House and Gunners' Barracks. You deal with the company directly rather than through an agency, and the DJ you plan with is the one who plays on the night. Greek and multicultural celebrations are a big part of their work. Jimmy V is a bilingual Greek and English MC who knows the traditions, from the koumbaro introductions to the money dance, and his DJ sets move between laïká, modern Greek pop and international party music. Live bouzouki, clarinet, bongos, saxophone and drums can play alongside the DJ. They also cover Arabic, Macedonian, Indian and other cultural weddings. Outside weddings, they DJ 18ths through to 60ths, engagements and corporate end-of-year parties, gala dinners and awards nights. Their birthday library covers Top 40, hip hop and R&B, 80s and 90s, dance, Latin, rock and more. Every booking includes a DJ for the full booked time, a sound system sized to your venue, a wireless mic, a playlist consultation beforehand, backup gear on site, public liability insurance and tested equipment. Popular extras include dance-floor lighting, uplighting, cold spark machines, CO2 jets, smoke and dry ice, an LED dance floor and an open-air photo booth. How much does a JJK Entertainment DJ cost?
Birthday DJ packages start from $750 plus GST, and wedding packages start from $1,200. The final price depends on how long the event runs, the size of the venue, and any lighting, effects or extra services you add.
What's included as standard?

Can you host a Greek wedding in both languages?
Yes. DJ Jimmy V is a bilingual Greek and English MC who knows Greek Orthodox wedding customs. Live bouzouki, clarinet, bongo and saxophone players can be added to the DJ set.
Do you travel outside Sydney?
Yes. They regularly play in Wollongong and the Illawarra, the Southern Highlands and the Hunter Valley, and also list Newcastle and Canberra among the areas they service.
How far ahead should we book?
Their guidance is 9 to 12 months ahead for weddings and 3 to 6 months for birthdays and corporate events, and sooner for peak dates between October and April and in December.
