With more than 300 characters and themes on offer, from princesses, Frozen and Barbie to Avengers, pirates, Harry Potter, Mario and toddler favourites like Bluey and Peppa Pig, the party is built around whoever your child wants to see. A typical party mixes parachute games, an interactive magic show pitched at the age group, a balloon modelling show with balloon animals and swords, dancing games, storytelling, stickers for every child and photo opportunities. Depending on the package, face painting or fake tattoos are included too, and every booking comes with free invitations. Packages start from $220, and the team will swap games or add personal touches for the birthday child. StarDust also runs corporate family days, kids Christmas parties, bring-your-kids-to-work days and virtual parties over Zoom. The practical side is simple: you supply the children and an open space, whether that is a living room, backyard, park or hall. StarDust suggests one entertainer for up to 25 children, and parties suit ages from about one to 12. A deposit of just over half secures the date, the balance is due the week before, and your entertainer phones two or three days out to go through the plan. On the day they arrive in costume and in character at the start time. If rain hits an outdoor party, clearing a space indoors is enough for the entertainer to move the fun inside.

How much does a StarDust Kids party cost?
Party packages start from $220. The final price depends on the character, the package and what you add, such as face painting, so contact StarDust for a quote on your date.
What happens at a StarDust Kids party?
Your entertainer arrives in costume and runs games, parachute games, an age-appropriate magic show, a balloon modelling show with balloon animals and swords, dancing games and storytelling. Stickers for every child are included, and face painting or fake tattoos come with some packages.
How many children can one entertainer handle?
StarDust suggests up to 25 children for each entertainer. For bigger groups, ask about adding a second entertainer.
What do I need to provide, and where can the party be held?
Just the children and an open space. The entertainer can work at your home, in a park or in a hall, and if rain spoils a backyard party they can move the fun inside once you clear some room.
How does booking and payment work?
You pay a deposit of just over 50 per cent by card to secure the date, and the balance is due in the week before the party. Your entertainer calls two or three days beforehand to talk through the plan. Cancelling or rescheduling within 10 business days of the party costs part of the deposit.
