Passion

All charters are a minimum of 4 hours. From April to October, Passion is $775 per hour Sunday to Friday and $875 per hour on Saturdays. From November to March, she's $875 per hour Sunday to Thursday and $925 per hour on Fridays and Saturdays. Christmas Day is $1,150 per hour, and Boxing Day and Australia Day are $1,100 per hour, each with a 5-hour minimum. New Year's Day and other public holidays are $1,000 per hour.

Staff are included for up to 20 guests. Groups of 21 to 30 need one extra staff member at $300, and 31 to 43 need two at $600; 18th and 21st birthdays without parents present also need one extra staff member at $300. Staff rates cover 4 hours, then $75 per staff member per hour, with 1.5 times the rate on public holidays. Wharf fees are $50 per pick-up or drop-off, or $150 for Mosman, Watsons Bay and the Parramatta River. An $800 deposit secures the booking, the balance is due 10 days before, and a $500 damage bond is returned after the charter.

BBQ packages start with BBQ Staples at $20 per person (sausages, patties and buns), then three BBQ Spreads at $35, $50 and $65 per person, building up to rump steak, sausages, chicken and salads, and at the top level cheese and fruit platters with steak or salmon. Platters serve about 15 people: cheese at $134, cheese and charcuterie at $165, vegetarian crudités at $104, fruit at $95 and sweet treats at $89, with seafood, sashimi, prawn and oyster platters from $99 to $130 (or $180 to $250 for 30 people) and sushi platters from $65 to $75. Ordering platters without a BBQ package adds an $85 delivery fee.

BYO food is welcome for $5 per person, with plates and cutlery provided.

BYO drinks cost $5 per person, and the boat supplies cups and eskies. For ice, either bring your own or buy it on board at $8 a bag; four bags is the recommended amount. BYO spirits are allowed with soft-drink mixers, and under responsible service rules food must be provided whenever alcohol is on board. Drinks can also be collected from Dan Murphy's in Rose Bay or Double Bay for $100, booked 7 days ahead.

Passion is available daily, and every charter is at least 4 hours.

City boarding points are King Street Wharf, Casino Wharf, the Circular Quay Eastern Pontoon, Towns Place Wharf and the Elizabeth Macarthur Pontoon. On the north side, options include Yeend Street in Birchgrove, Chowder Bay, Lavender Bay and Mosman Bay. In the eastern suburbs there's Double Bay, the Rose Bay floating pontoon, Yarranabbe Park at Rushcutters Bay, Woolloomooloo and Watsons Bay, and to the west Mort Street in Balmain, Birkenhead Point, Jones Bay, Pirrama Park and Parramatta River ferry wharves. Standard wharf fees are $50 per pick-up or drop-off, rising to $150 for Mosman, Watsons Bay and the Parramatta River. Manly isn't available because the vessel can't cross the Heads with guests on board.

Pre-loading from Rose Bay can be arranged depending on timing, and up to three guests can travel with the vessel to the pick-up. The price list shows both $100 and $150 for pre-loading, so confirm the fee when booking.
