About Event Entertainers
Event Entertainers is a Cremorne-based entertainment agency and consultancy that has been booking live acts for about 10 years. It's run by Tim and Josie, both working musicians who still play most weekends, so their recommendations come from having watched acts work real rooms. Rather than sending a list of whoever is free, they take your brief and come back with two or three acts, explaining why each one suits your guests and venue. The Sydney roster covers party and function bands from three-piece line-ups to full production showbands, acoustic soloists and duos for ceremonies and dinners, string ensembles and instrumentalists for cocktail hours, DJs and DJ-and-band hybrids, and featured acts such as 1920s showgirls, tap dancers, aerial performers and a roving magician. Acts on the books include Jets Music, Kamura, the Ned Verwey Band, Dynasty Showband and Joe Moore, across pop, rock, jazz, R&B and soul, country and folk, and classics. Prices depend on the act and the event, and pricing for each suggested performer comes with the shortlist. Once you confirm, the agency takes over contracts, logistics, venue liaison, artist briefing and the run sheet, and stays your single point of contact on the night. If an artist has to pull out or the schedule changes, you call the agency and they sort it. Weddings are planned around each stage of the day, from ceremony music to the last dance, while private work covers milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners and family celebrations. Past events include weddings at Jonah's in Whale Beach and in the Hunter Valley, and a New Year's Eve celebration at the Sydney Opera House.

Yes. As well as Sydney, they book acts in Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth, and have supplied weddings and events in the Hunter Valley, on the Central Coast and at Jamberoo.
