Christmas Party Venues in Caloundra

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Caloundra's Christmas listings are both built for scale: a racecourse with seven function spaces and a performing arts centre with rooms for hundreds. Either can take a whole workforce, so the difference lies in setting and format.

Racecourse or arts centre for the work Christmas:

At the Sunshine Coast Turf Club, rooms range from The Glasshouse, seating 20 to 24, up to The Establishment for 150 to 300 guests.
The main party room at The Events Centre Caloundra, also called The Glasshouse, fits 450 standing, with its own bar and LED mood lighting.
Turf Club cocktail menus are priced from $60 per person, alongside four- or five-hour drinks packages.
One hour of cocktail food at The Events Centre starts from $27 per person, with plated dinners also offered.
In-house AV is standard at both, and music or a DJ can be organised at the racecourse.

Small teams: The Glasshouse has a private bar and balcony for 30 to 50 cocktail guests.
Mid-sized: the TAB Greenhouse takes 40 to 60 with a courtyard and barbecue menu.
Large: The Atrium seats up to 150 overlooking the track, or 180 for cocktails.
Casual: the Parade Ring Terrace is undercover for 4 to 150 with platters from the bar and pizzeria.

For a seated dinner the Glasshouse takes 300, and it can be opened up to the neighbouring rooms for a very large party.
The Beausang and Reef rooms suit smaller teams with banquet seating for up to 80.
The banquet kitchen handles anything from 10 guests to 1,000, with canapés, buffets or plated dinners.
A free undercover car park and covered drop-off help on a busy December night.
