About QuEvents
QuEvents is a technical production and event management business with its head office and warehouse in Landsborough, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. It hires out the equipment that makes an event look and sound right, and can send the people to operate it. The lighting range takes in LED pars, moving spots, retro blinders, lasers and mirror balls, haze, smoke, low-lying fog and bubble machines, warm white festoon runs, truss and black drape. Vision gear includes large 4K TVs, a rear projection screen, projectors, cameras and video switchers for presentations and live streaming. Sound and backline hire sits alongside it. The wider inventory also covers marquees, staging, furniture and decor, so an outdoor function can be fitted out from the same order. Items can be hired on their own, or bundled with crew into a full-service package. Equipment goes out dry for self-operation or wet with technicians, and can be picked up from the warehouse or delivered to the site. For organisers who want more than hire, the team also handles concept planning, site maps, permits, vendor management, safety planning and the build and pack-down. Its work spans corporate functions, gala dinners, product launches, community celebrations and festivals such as Caloundra Music Festival and the Big Pineapple Music Festival. Do we have to run the equipment ourselves?
No. Gear can be hired dry for you to operate, or wet with QuEvents technicians, and it can be combined with crew as a full-service production package.
Can we collect the gear or does it get delivered?
Both options are offered. Equipment can be collected from the Landsborough warehouse or delivered directly to your event site, with delivery details worked out at the quote stage.
Is there more on offer than sound and lighting?
Yes. The broader inventory includes marquees, staging, furniture and decor, and the team also runs full event management, from site design and permits to vendor coordination and pack-down.
How is pricing worked out?
QuEvents does not publish rates. Each hire is quoted on the equipment, whether technicians are needed, delivery and the event size, and the team can help work out what you need.
