About Alien Sound
Alien Sound is a Buderim sound and lighting hire business started on the Sunshine Coast by Ian Belcher, a musician and sound engineer with more than 40 years in the music industry. It has been hiring PA systems and running event production on the coast for almost 30 years. The PA packages are built to be easy to run yourself. A battery-powered wedding package sets up in under a minute with a cordless microphone and Bluetooth, the party package is a Yamaha Stagepas 1K system with an optional light bar, and the DJ package pairs 1200-watt powered speakers with a mixing desk. Band, solo and duo packages start with a six-channel, 600-watt PA and two microphones. Individual items can be added or hired on their own: powered speakers and subs, powered mixers, analog and digital desks, Shure, AKG and Rode microphones, stands, guitar and bass amps, drum kits and keyboards. Outdoor packages use weatherproof speakers and cordless mics for events in the open. Packages come with stands and cables and are picked up from Buderim. Local delivery, set-up and installation are available, and for bigger events Alien Sound can supply a full production service with a technician who stays to run the sound. Conference and outdoor events are quoted individually, so send an enquiry with the date and venue.
