About O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards
O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards sits along Canungra Creek, with vines, lawns and a 165-year-old homestead called Killowen at its centre. The tasting is a paddle of five wines you pick yourself, poured at the cellar door. Staff can suggest combinations if your group wants a hand choosing. For groups, the main booking is a creekside long table, which the team sets up and holds for you from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Tables suit up to 50 guests on the standard rates, larger parties are quoted separately, and you can bring your own decorations. Order at least 24 hours ahead so there is time to prepare the setting. Food comes from the cafe menu, served from 10:30am to 2:30pm, or a pre-booked picnic basket. Outside food and drink cannot be brought in, as the property is fully licensed. Local musicians normally play by the creek on weekends from 11:30am, which gives the afternoon an easy soundtrack. Company groups have more room to work with. The barrel-lined wine cellar holds up to 200, the air-conditioned marquee up to 250, and the spotted gum Creekside Deck fits 150 for cocktails or 80 seated. What does a wine tasting cost at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards?
The cellar door tasting paddle is $30 and lets each guest pick any five O'Reilly's wines. Staff can recommend a good combination.
How much does a creekside long table cost for a group?
Reservation is $50 for up to 10 people, $75 for 11 to 20, $125 for 21 to 30 and $200 for 31 to 50. Groups above 51 get a quote, and food and drinks are extra.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
No outside food or drink is allowed, apart from food for infants, because the vineyard is fully licensed. You can buy from the cafe and bar on site, or pre-book a picnic basket.
What happens to a creekside booking if the weather turns bad?
Bookings can be moved to another available date or converted to a credit, with 24 hours' notice needed. Full refunds need at least seven days' notice before your date.
Are the alpaca walks run by the vineyard?
Mountview Alpaca Farm operates on the property but is a separate company, so alpaca walks and picnics are booked directly with them rather than with the vineyard.
