About Mount Nathan Winery
Mount Nathan Winery is a family business in the Gold Coast hinterland, founded here by Peter Gibson and now run with the next generation. Its range runs from sparkling and table wines to fortifieds and the honey-based Winter wines, including flavours such as chocolate, coffee and lychee. A tasting covers five wines, and two further glasses come with it. Groups can use the winery in two ways. Large bookings can come through for a hosted tasting at the cellar door, and the venue also takes bookings from tour companies. For something more private, three rooms are available for hire: a VIP room for 10, a Private Tasting Room for 20 and the Main Hall for 60. Every room hire covers a tasting, a small fridge for the cake and the clean-up afterwards. You are free to decorate as you like and bring your own catering, and a veranda and cheese platters are also part of the offer. Prices are not published, so ask for a quote when you enquire. The grounds help a long afternoon along. Guests can feed the sheep and llamas, wander through the orchard, or sit out on the veranda. For a keepsake, the winery can print your photo on a 150mL bottle of fortified wine. Send an enquiry with your numbers to check dates.
