About Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery
Cedar Creek Estate is a 22-acre vineyard on Tamborine Mountain that gives a group several things to do in one visit. The day usually centres on the cellar door, known as the Queensland Wine Centre, where each tasting covers six wines from a range of whites, reds and fortifieds. The team also explains how smell and taste connect with food and wine. Tasting slots run half-hourly between 10am and 2:30pm for groups of six or more, and a booking is essential once your party is larger than six. From there, the on-site cafe takes groups of 10 to 100 for a sit-down lunch. Guests sit outside on the deck, veranda or gazebo, or inside the Hamblin Room, which has log fires in winter and air conditioning in summer. Two attractions sit alongside the winery. The purpose-built glow worm cave runs guided tours of about 30 minutes, and Butterfly Valley is a landscaped garden where visitors walk among hundreds of native butterflies. The team can coordinate tours, seating and menus, so the whole day can be arranged in a single enquiry. Groups of 10 or more are asked to get in touch ahead of time, and prebooking is essential for group packages. Birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, corporate lunches and team days out are all occasions the estate caters for. It can also put you in touch with coach companies for transfers. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred date.
