About Mount Tamborine Wine Tours
Mount Tamborine Wine Tours is the wine-trail arm of Mt Tamborine Transfers, a local, family-run transport business on the mountain. Rather than selling seats on a shared coach, it drives one party at a time between cellar doors, gin distilleries, breweries and other stops. The standard outing is about five hours for two to four people. A sample plan starts at Cedar Creek at 10am, moves on to Witches Falls, stops at Hamptons or Masons for lunch and a tasting, then finishes at The Cauldron or Tamborine Mountain Distillery. You can swap any of that, or ask the driver to shape a route for you. The hop on, hop off option suits a group that would rather linger. Pickups and drop-offs work anywhere on the mountain, and a Gold Coast pickup is available when arranged ahead. Larger parties can ask for a quote, subject to numbers and availability. The same operator sets up pop-up picnics on the mountain for hens parties, birthdays, anniversaries and baby showers. These can be joined to a wine outing as a full-day private tour for up to four people, with a table setting and grazing box. Send an enquiry with your numbers and preferred stops.

How many people can travel on a Mount Tamborine wine outing?
The standard private transfer is set up for two to four people. Larger groups can be carried depending on numbers and availability, and those are priced by quote.
What does the price cover?
The fare covers the private vehicle and driver for the outing. Wine tastings and lunch are paid separately at each stop, so the group only buys what it wants.
Can we choose which wineries we visit?
Yes. You can write your own list of wineries, distilleries and breweries, or have the driver suggest a plan. The sample route visits three wineries, then a distillery or brewery.
Where can we be picked up?
Pickups run from accommodation anywhere on Tamborine Mountain. A Gold Coast pickup needs to be arranged in advance and adds an hour to the outing, at a higher fare.
Can a picnic be added for a hens party or birthday?
Yes. A grazing box picnic can be added to a tour for an extra fee. Picnic setups cover hens parties, birthdays and anniversaries, and suit adults and children over 12.
