About Black Hops Burleigh Heads
Black Hops started in a Burleigh Heads garage, and this taproom on Gardenia Grove is the brand's original site. Visitors can work through a tasting paddle or pick from 16 taps, with the brewers' core and limited beers on pour. For a group, there are three clear levels. Table bookings suit 10 to 20 people with a reserved area and no hire fee. Private functions for 20 to 50 use a dedicated space on a minimum spend, with staff of their own and tailored food and drink. The largest option is the whole venue, which holds up to 100 guests here across indoor and outdoor areas. The operator names milestone birthdays, engagements, baby showers and corporate Christmas parties among the events it hosts. Hens and bucks groups are welcome, provided they enquire first, and standard responsible service rules apply. Dogs are welcome in the taproom too. For a closer look at the brewing itself, guided 70-minute tours run at the sister brewery in Biggera Waters, finishing with a tasting. Private tours can be requested there. Send an enquiry to plan your group's visit.
