About GC Aqua Park
GC Aqua Park is an inflatable water park on the Broadwater at Southport, created by three-time world wakeboarding champion Daniel Watkins. Guests climb, balance, slide and splash their way around the floating course, with a staff briefing and a supplied lifejacket before they start, and free barbecues and playgrounds sit right beside the park. Kids' birthdays are a major part of the park. The Party Package gives guests a 50-minute session, while the Deluxe doubles the water time and holds your undercover table for three hours. Both include a party host and aqua socks, and require at least 10 regular party tickets booked 48 hours ahead. Larger groups get their own rates from 25 people up to 450, which suits sporting teams, social clubs, youth groups and workplaces. It is a shared park session rather than a facilitated workshop or exclusive hire, so treat it as a relaxed team day, staff celebration or work Christmas outing. Afterwards, bring your own food to the parklands or stop at the café, and send an enquiry with your numbers, age mix and preferred date.

Frequently asked questions
Who can use the main park?
Everyone on the course must be 5 or over and able to swim, as the park sits in tidal salt water. Under-10s need a paid on-water supervisor of at least 10, at a ratio of one supervisor to two children.
What comes with a birthday party package?
Both packages include water time, a dedicated party host, an undercover table and aqua socks for each party ticket. The $34 package has one 50-minute session, and the $49 Deluxe has 100 minutes and a three-hour table.
How do group bookings work?
Groups of 25 to 450 can get a quote and group rates, with weekday and weekend sessions subject to availability. Smaller groups buy standard tickets. A group booking does not include party tables, a host or food.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, you can bring food, non-alcoholic drinks and an esky. Alcohol, your own barbecue gear and bulky cooking equipment stay at home, but the public barbecues in the parklands are free to use.
What do we need to bring and when should we arrive?
Get there 30 minutes or more ahead of your start time with swimwear, a towel and sun protection. The park's own aqua socks are compulsory at $5 a pair unless your package covers them, and everyone needs a signed waiver.

Really fun experience! Each session lasts about 50 minutes, which feels just right. Just be careful because you might get a few small scratches while playing. The staff are very responsible and super friendly — everyone…
