About Arro Jet Boating Gold Coast
Arro Jet is based at Main Beach, at the Sea World Cruises Terminal, and reaches the fast stretch of the Broadwater almost as soon as it leaves the dock. Its purpose-built boats seat 28 and carry 850 horsepower, delivering spins, slides and speeds above 80 km/h. Riders can use the free car park and need no theme park ticket. There are two rides to choose from: the 30-minute Classic and the 45-minute Signature. Both mix high-speed manoeuvres with Broadwater scenery, and on suitable days the route can take in the waters near South Stradbroke and Sovereign Islands. Everyone gets wet, so a towel and dry clothes are worth packing. For kids' birthdays, the 2.5-hour package covers drop-off, a safety brief, the jet boat ride, then food and cake in a VIP area. It needs at least 8 children and 1 adult, and the birthday child rides free. Extra food combos, an ice cream cake and GoPro video can all be added. How much is a kids' birthday party and what is the minimum?
The package is $59 a head, with a minimum of 8 children and 1 adult. Food combos are $12 each and an ice cream cake is $25, and both are optional extras.
What are the age and height requirements for riders?
The limits are 5 years of age and a height of 120 cm, and an adult rides with any child. The ride is not open to anyone pregnant or with a back, neck or serious heart condition.
Do we need a Sea World ticket to ride?
No. The Sea World Cruises Terminal is separate from the theme park, so you can reach the terminal and use the free car park without buying park entry.
Can friends and family watch without riding?
Yes. Non-riders can wait on the waterfront viewing deck with the cafe and bar nearby. They will see the boat depart and return, although most of the ride happens out of view on the Broadwater.
