About Wynmère Estate

Wynmère Estate is a privately owned wedding venue on Alpine Terrace at Tamborine Mountain, in the Gold Coast hinterland. Its five acres combine clipped French-style gardens, a Georgian-inspired residence and native rainforest with a creek. Weddings are the whole business, and the estate deliberately hosts only a limited number each year. Ceremonies can take place in three outdoor spots. The Parterre seats 40 among the garden beds or 80 around its edge, the Creekside sits under camphor laurels for up to 80, and the Residence uses the steps of the main house. If the weather turns, the open-air Atrium is the wet-weather option, and it can be heated in winter. It also doubles as the courtyard space for canapés and drinks after the vows. Receptions are held indoors in an air-conditioned hall with French windows, chandeliers, a styled bar and a dance floor by the entrance. Timber feasting tables, your choice of chair, glassware, a surround sound system and a wireless microphone all come with the booking. Food comes from the resident caterer, Ridgeway Catering, as a shared feast, an alternate plated meal or a cocktail-style menu. Every menu includes a five-hour drinks package, and the venue does not allow BYO or outside caterers apart from approved extras such as a gelato cart. The estate's own coordinators plan the day with you and run it on site. Viewings are by appointment and are required before a booking is confirmed, so send an enquiry to arrange a visit.

Pricing

The first 30 guests cost $6,800 for catering and drinks, and each extra guest adds $210, with later dates costing more. A 15% surcharge on food and drinks applies on Sundays and Queensland public holidays.

Venue hire is charged separately and is quoted once the team knows your date, numbers and whether you want a weekday or weekend.

Food

Three menu styles are offered: a shared feasting menu, a plated alternate menu and a cocktail-style menu. Feasting and plated menus begin with four canapés, and the cocktail menu adds substantial canapés and a chef-manned station.

Wedding cake is cut and served with every style.

Beverages

All menus include a five-hour drinks package with alfresco and indoor bar service, using a pop-up caravan bar outside and a fitted bar in the hall. BYO is not offered.

Availability

Weekday and weekend weddings are both available, priced differently. Viewings are generally on Sundays and Tuesdays by appointment, and one is required before a booking is confirmed, so send an enquiry to arrange a visit.

Frequently asked questions

How many guests can Wynmère Estate hold?

The maximum is 80 guests. The venue keeps numbers low on purpose and does not take large weddings.

Are smaller weddings and elopements possible?

Yes. Options run from elopements for two through to a micro package for 30 to 80 guests, with a ceremony, canapés and free-flowing drinks but no full reception.

Can we bring our own caterer or alcohol?

No. Ridgeway Catering is the resident caterer and BYO is not offered. Approved extras such as gelato carts or oyster shuckers may be allowed after discussion with the team.

What time do weddings finish?

Celebrations close at 9pm Monday to Thursday and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Outdoor amplified music has to stop by 6pm, and buses or cars should be there 15 minutes ahead of leaving.

Can children and dogs come?

Up to five children aged 1 to 12 can attend the ceremony, but not the canapés or reception, and they need supervision. Dogs are welcome once they have been individually assessed, with a carer looking after them.
