About Hilltop Estate
Hilltop Estate sits at 1525 Tamborine Oxenford Road in Wongawallan, on the Tamborine Mountain side of the Gold Coast Hinterland. It is run mainly as a wedding venue and also takes corporate events and private functions. The estate is sold as a single, exclusive booking. Only one wedding runs at a time, so the chapel, lawns and reception areas belong to your group for the day. Ceremonies take place in the Heritage Chapel, a restored building more than a century old with stained glass at the entrance and timber pews. The alternative is the Garden Pavilion, a glass-sided space among manicured gardens that works outdoors or under cover. Receptions can use the pavilion, with its dance floor and bar, or the reception area and Skyview Balcony. Tall windows face the view inside, while the balcony handles cocktail hours and smaller dinners. The estate hosts up to 70 guests. Food comes through preferred catering partners, and approved outside caterers are also allowed. Styles run from plated dinners and shared feasts to buffets and cocktail service, and menus can be adjusted for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests. Packages include tables, chairs, white linen, service staff, set-up, clean-up and parking. Wet weather is covered by the chapel and pavilion, and five rooms on site let the wedding party stay over. How many guests can Hilltop Estate hold?
Weddings and events here go up to 70 guests. Smaller ceremonies are welcome too, and the spaces can be combined to suit the size of the group.
Can the ceremony and reception be held in one place?
Yes. You can marry in the Heritage Chapel or Garden Pavilion and move straight to the pavilion or Skyview Balcony, so guests need no transport between venues.
What is included in a wedding package?
Exclusive use of the estate, ceremony and reception spaces, tables, chairs, white linen, service staff, set-up, clean-up, parking and access to the Bridal Suite. Pricing is sent out on request.
Can we bring our own caterer or suppliers?
Approved outside caterers are allowed alongside the preferred catering partners. Photographers, florists, celebrants and entertainers of your choice are also welcome if they hold current insurance and follow the venue guidelines.
What happens if it rains?
The chapel is fully enclosed and the pavilion is covered, while the reception area has big windows facing the view. A wet weather plan is set for each event.
