About Coolibah Downs Private Estate
Coolibah Downs Private Estate is a garden venue on ten private acres at Mount Nathan in the Gold Coast hinterland. Weddings are its main business, and it also takes on corporate and private functions designed around each client. The ceremony options are spread across the grounds. There is an antique stone chapel with arched French doors, the palm-lined Croquet Lawn, a Garden Gazebo at the end of a stone path, the historic Love Tree and a lily pond with its own pavilion. Receptions move into the open-air Marquee, which overlooks the gardens and has crystal chandeliers, fairy lights and pale stone flooring. Tables can run in rounds or long rows, and the neutral walls take most colour schemes. The property can host up to 180 guests. Food is handled by the estate's own chefs, who adapt to vegetarian, vegan and cultural requests. A local Indian restaurant partners with the venue on tailored menus, and the team has experience with Indian, Korean, Chinese, African, European, Japanese and Pacific Islander celebrations. A coordinator looks after each wedding, and past couples describe suppliers being managed on the day. Guests can also stay on site if you want the party close to bed. Outside weddings, the events team plans garden parties and high teas, gala dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events and Christmas parties.
