About St Bernards Hotel
St Bernards Hotel is a country pub on Alpine Terrace, on the edge of the escarpment at Tamborine Mountain. Its deck looks across the Tamborine Valley and the Guanaba Gorge toward the ocean. The main reception space is a permanent grand marquee for 35 to 200 guests. It has a private entry, its own bathrooms, bar and dance floor, and room for a DJ or a photobooth. Smaller parties can use the Rafters Room, which takes up to 30 guests. The garden chapel, a converted cottage, seats up to 100 for ceremonies, while the gardens are also a regular choice. For garden ceremonies, the team encloses the area and keeps the back deck aside for your guests, which separates them from the public restaurant. Wet weather options are also available, so ask the coordinator what suits your date. The chefs tailor menus to each event, from a seated banquet to a cocktail format, and packages can be discussed with the team. A coordinator can also help with styling, flowers, photographers and DJs. Weddings lead the calendar, but engagement parties, corporate functions, baby showers and birthdays are welcome too. The two resident St Bernard dogs can greet your guests if you would like them involved, and three lodges on site offer somewhere to stay.
