About Gold Coast Tavern
Gold Coast Tavern is a bar and bistro at 150 Bundall Road, open late with live sport on the screens. Its function spaces make the most of the water outlook, and there is plenty of parking on site. The Rowers Room is the main space, private and able to hold 200 standing or 160 seated. The Skyline Lounge is the mid-sized option, taking 100 standing or 40 seated. The Deck is a reservable area for up to 40 guests with water views. For meetings, The Boardroom has a set hire fee and basic tea and coffee included, with numbers depending on the layout. Catering comes from a dedicated functions menu rather than the bistro list. You can choose platters, 25-piece bites, a plated sit-down menu or a shared group feast. Drinks run on a consumption tab with wristbands for your guests, or as a cash bar. Private rooms include a microphone, a 60-inch smart TV and HDMI connections. Functions run for 5 hours and cannot extend beyond midnight. Package options cover birthdays, weddings and engagements, school formals and celebrations of life, so send an enquiry and the functions coordinator will talk you through them.

Sit-down menus are $65 per person for two courses or $80 for three. Group feasts are $60 per person for two courses or $75 for three.
A deposit of $200 applies for 40 guests or fewer, or $500 for larger groups.

What are the minimum spends?
The Deck starts at a $1,000 minimum spend, the Skyline Lounge at $3,000 and the Rowers Room at $5,000. December figures are higher, at $1,500, $3,500 and $6,000.
Is there room hire on top of the minimum spend?
Yes. Hire is $200 for The Deck, $350 for the Skyline Lounge and $500 for the Rowers Room.
Can we bring our own caterer?
No. Outside catering is not permitted and bulk food orders come from the functions menu, confirmed at least 14 days ahead.
How long can a function run?
Functions are booked for 5 hours. Extra time costs $100 an hour for room and staff, and nothing can run past midnight.
Does the tavern host school formals?
Yes. The formal package includes a DJ, decorations, a red carpet and up to 4 hours of event time, with a minimum of 60 guests.
