Little Mermaid Cafe Bar is a coastal cafe on the Gold Coast Highway at Mermaid Beach, with casual beach-style décor and a bar. Its menu draws on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours. The venue hosts private and semi-private functions, with exclusive use of the bar area or the whole space. It holds up to 100 guests, with 50 to 100 cocktail style or 40 to 80 seated. There is no venue hire fee. Private functions carry a minimum spend that can go on food, a bar tab or both. Event menus are built on grazing boards and canapés, with packages that add more items or run unlimited for three hours. Drinks on arrival can be added. Grazing tables and canapés suit a mingling crowd, while seated set-ups work for a long table lunch. The bright, casual room suits a daytime shower or an afternoon birthday.
