About Broadbeach Tavern
Broadbeach Tavern is a local pub at the Oasis Shopping Centre on Old Burleigh Road, facing Kurrawa Beach. It runs a family bistro, a sports bar and a large deck, and it sets aside three areas for private functions. The Terrace comes first for bigger groups. Half of it holds 40 standing guests and the whole terrace holds 80, in a mostly private setting with glimpses of the ocean and full use of the bar. The Deck takes 50 to 70 standing guests in a curved nook with some lounge seating, and it closes at 10pm each day. The Mood Lounge is the smallest space, a similar curved corner for 25 standing guests. Food comes as share platters rather than set menus. Cold options include dips, antipasti, cheese and sandwiches, while hot options run from mini pies and sausage rolls to yum cha, sliders and skewers, and there are vegetarian and vegan choices. Drinks packages can be tailored to the event, and the Terrace has direct access to the bar facilities. Each area is hired for four hours against a minimum spend that changes between weekdays and weekends, and longer hire can cost extra. The pack names birthdays, engagements, hens and bucks nights, work parties and Christmas parties as the functions it hosts. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers, and the events team can arrange an inspection and a quote.
