About Charlie's Rooftop
Charlie's serves food and drinks one floor above the Gold Coast Highway at Mermaid Beach. Cocktails and share plates come out under a retractable roof, so the room can sit in full sun at lunch and close over as the evening cools. Groups can book anything from a long table up to the entire rooftop. A full takeover holds 120 people standing or 75 seated, and half the rooftop can be hired for a smaller party. Function bookings run for four hours with staff looking after the details. There is a car park on site. The team hosts birthdays, hens and bucks nights, long lunches and work Christmas parties, along with corporate events and brand launches. Private takeovers can have the food, drinks and music tailored to the occasion. For functions, canapés are passed around the room so guests can keep mingling, and there are two packages built from the regular menu. Dietary needs can be handled where possible if you raise them with the team. Drinks are sold as packages of beer, wine and sparkling, and you can add spirits or cocktails for an extra charge.
