About Hinterland Hotel

The Hinterland Hotel is a pub on Station Street in Nerang, set beside the Nerang River. Alongside its bistro, sports bar and lounge bar it has a dedicated events team and private rooms for birthdays and corporate functions. The Garden Room is the usual pick, seating 80 at dinner or holding 120 for a cocktail party. It sits apart from the main hotel, with French glass windows, air conditioning, toilets and a bar of its own, and it works well for 40 or more guests bringing their own entertainment. The River Room is larger, with a double French door entrance and a big bar. It seats up to 150 at dinner and takes 150 or more in a cocktail layout. Remove the wall between those two and you get the Hinterland Room, for up to 400 standing or 280 seated. That doubles the bars and restrooms, which helps with sports presentations and conferences. Smaller parties can use a private area of the sports bar instead. Catering runs from platters to two or three course set menus and a roast buffet, with the plated and buffet menus needing at least 50 guests. Vegetarian and vegan options are available on request. A deposit of $300 or 20% of the estimated charge, whichever is greater, confirms a booking. A security guard is required for 21st celebrations, so mention the occasion when you send an enquiry.
