About Ashmore Tavern

Ashmore Tavern is a long-running neighbourhood pub on the corner of Cotlew Street and Currumburra Road in Ashmore. It sets aside several indoor and outdoor areas for functions, each with its own layout and seating limit. The Atrium is the brightest option, with windows on every wall, plenty of greenery and seating for 50 to 90 people. The Lounge Bar suits a more classic pub feel, and the Garden Mural Room has colourful artwork and full-height doors that fold back to the deck. Outside, the Garden Deck seats 60 and looks onto an enormous fig tree covered in fairy lights after dark. Join it with the Mural Room and you have both areas to yourselves for up to 120 seated guests. The Sports Bar Deck is smaller, seating up to 50, with weather screens and the bar close by. Food comes from a platter menu or the a la carte kitchen. Each platter feeds roughly eight to ten people and costs $165 to $170, with Mexican-style tacos, party food, baguettes, a gluten-friendly mix and mezze among the choices. Function staff are included, and the areas come with screens, an AV system and a microphone, depending on the space. You can get in an hour before start time to decorate, and the events coordinator can help with styling or entertainment requests. Function areas close at 11.30pm, while the general bars stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays. Send an enquiry to check dates and talk through which area fits your numbers.
