About Lakelands Golf Club
Lakelands Golf Club sits on Lakelands Drive at Merrimac, in the centre of the Gold Coast. Its clubhouse looks over a championship course, and also holds a golf shop and the Signatures restaurant and bar. The main function space is the Augusta Room, which seats 110 at a banquet or 88 in cabaret style, and holds 140 for cocktails. Glass walls look out to the gardens, daylight is plentiful, and guests can step straight onto the clubhouse balcony. The Nicklaus Room is the mid-sized choice, with high ceilings and tall windows above the manicured gardens. It takes 40 at a banquet, 32 in cabaret style or 50 in theatre rows, which suits a smaller celebration or a training day. The Boardroom is the most compact room, with a polished timber table for 12 people. It is a meeting room rather than a party space, so most social bookings will use one of the other two. Catering is handled in-house. Styling is flexible too: you can bring in one of the club's recommended stylists or decorate the room yourself to suit your theme. The club can arrange a tour of the function rooms before you decide. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to find out about menus and pricing, as these are not published.

Lakelands Golf Course is easily one of the best courses on the Gold Coast — if not the best. While everyone always raves about Sanctuary Cove, Lakelands really stands out for its design. The layout is thoughtful, challen…

One of the best courses on the Gold Coast, greens perfect, Fairways perfect, rough perfect. Club house staff were amazing as well. Cannot rate this place high enough.

Absolutely beautiful course kept in good condition. Quintessential Australian scenery and friendly locals. Place of play was a bit slow because the course was jammed and we’re certain our playing partners teed off early…
