About Function Room @ Ferry Road Tavern
Ferry Road Tavern is a neighbourhood pub on the corner of Ferry Road and Cotlew Street in Southport, with a bistro, a race bar and live sport. Its private Function Room sits apart from the main bar, so a group can have its own space. The room takes 70 guests cocktail style or 55 seated. It comes with a private bar, a projector and its own toilets. The layout is flexible. Photos of the room show round tables dressed for a celebration, as well as long tables and a head table facing the screen for a business lunch or presentation. Food is ordered from the function pack. Choose canapés at four, six or eight pieces each, a two or three course set menu, or platters such as charcuterie, seafood and vegetarian selections for the table. Drinks can run on standard, premium or deluxe packages for two to four hours. You can also set up a bar tab with a limit you can review during the night, or let guests pay for their own at a cash bar. The functions team helps with planning and looks after the event on the day. Packages need at least 20 guests, and birthdays, engagements and corporate functions are all catered for.

The standard beverage package is $48 per person for two hours, $61 for three and $75 for four. Premium is $52, $64 and $76, and deluxe is $59, $73 and $87.
Cocktails on arrival add $15 per person to any beverage package, and a spirits add-on is a flat $25 per person.
Food
Platters cover charcuterie, seafood, wings and wedges, pies and sausage rolls, vegetarian bites and sandwiches. Low gluten, low dairy, vegetarian and vegan options are marked through the menus, so mention any allergies when you book.
Beverages
A bar tab can be set to an agreed limit and reviewed as the function goes on. A cash bar is also available, where guests buy their own drinks.
