About Parkwood Tavern
Parkwood Tavern is a local pub on the corner of Olsen Avenue and Wintergreen Drive, opposite the Gold Coast Hospital and its light rail stop. It has a bistro, a sports bar and regular live music, plus dedicated function spaces for hire. The main space is the Jarrah Room, an enclosed room for exclusive use that holds 24 to 80 guests depending on the layout. It has a private bar and washrooms, and it works for cocktail receptions, wedding receptions, milestone birthdays and boardroom meetings. The outdoor balcony is the more casual choice, suited to semi-private groups of 30 to 50 who don't need entertainment equipment. Guests there can order main meals from the bistro, or the team can organise food and drinks packages. The room fee includes a projector screen with HDMI, a Bluetooth speaker and microphone, a whiteboard, tablecloths and light balloon decoration. A gift and cake table is set up, and event coordination comes with the booking. Catering runs from morning tea and share platters to set menus, and the chefs will talk through anything specific you have in mind. Outside food and drinks aren't allowed, though you can bring a cake, and bar tabs are settled at the end of the event. Rooms can be booked from 10am to 4pm or from 6pm to midnight. Send an enquiry to check dates and sort out the menu.
