About Love by Lara
Love by Lara is the celebrant business of Lara Wilkinson, who has delivered close to 300 weddings. She came to the job from music, having studied as a jazz vocalist and worked as a wedding singer before following her mother into celebrancy. Her ceremonies aim to be simple and relaxed while still feeling significant. Expect laughter, a few tears, and a story built from details you give her rather than a retelling of your whole lives. The main package, Big Love, runs about 20 to 25 minutes including vows and rings. It covers a face-to-face planning meeting, a follow-up call, the paperwork, a personal script, vow tips and examples, and use of her wireless PA. Sweet Love is the legals-only option, usually held at your place or over coffee with two witnesses. It suits couples marrying overseas or anyone who wants the legal part done without the extras. On the day Lara comes around 40 minutes early to sound check, help seat family, and say hello before you walk down the aisle. She also enjoys staying on as MC to host the party.
