About It Is Love
It Is Love is run by Amy Bruce, a Palm Beach celebrant with 20 years in the wedding industry. Between photographing, coordinating and officiating, she has been part of around 800 weddings, so the running of the day is familiar ground. Her style is warm, engaging and lighthearted, and she puts a lot of weight on the atmosphere in the room. Intimate days and big gatherings are equally welcome. The smallest package is a registry-style legal ceremony in Palm Beach, with a short online meeting and a brief meeting there for your vows and signing. The next step up is a scripted ceremony of about 10 minutes anywhere on the Gold Coast, with personal vows if you want them. Love Is in the Air adds a planning meeting, an insight into your love story, and a 15 to 20 minute ceremony. It also brings a quality portable speaker and wireless microphone, plus ceremony music if you have no musician. The top package tells your full story across 25 to 30 minutes, built from a private call with each partner. Rehearsal and reception MC services can be added. What does the $450 package include?
It Is Love's legal package covers the paperwork, a five-minute online meeting, a brief Palm Beach meeting for your vows and signing, and your commemorative certificate.
How long is the ceremony?
It depends on the package. Expect about 10 minutes for That's So Sweet, 15 to 20 minutes for Love Is in the Air, and 25 to 30 minutes for the top package.
Does Amy bring a sound system?
The two larger packages include a portable speaker and wireless microphone, and she can play your ceremony music through it if you are not having a musician.
Can Amy be our MC as well?
Reception MC services can be added to her top package, Shine Bright Like a Diamond, so ask about it when you enquire about your date.
Will she help us write our vows?
Yes. Packages with personal vows include prompts to shape your words, and the top package goes further, with help tidying drafts and balancing tone between you.
