About Love Celebrations
Love Celebrations is run by Belinda Hudson, an authorised marriage celebrant working from an office in Pacific Pines on the Gold Coast. She starts with an unhurried interview there, learning what the couple want so the finished ceremony sounds like them. Planning draws on her samples of ceremonies, readings and poems, and couples can bring their own material too. Rituals are a real part of the offer: sand ceremonies, candle ceremonies, hand-fasting, a love letter box and a wine box unity ritual can all be added. The wedding service covers the Notice of Intended Marriage and every legal step, a rehearsal, writing the ceremony and officiating on the day. She also brings a professional sound system with a cordless microphone, plus a signing table, chairs and tablecloth. Afterwards she registers the marriage and a ceremonial certificate is provided. Travel, stationery and postage sit within the service. Couples wanting something smaller can choose an elopement, with just witnesses or a few family and friends at a place of their choosing, or a legal-only ceremony with no need to dress up.
