Christmas Party Venues on the Broadwater

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Three Broadwater suburbs split the end-of-year party market along clear lines. Arundel offers scale in a brewery, Southport gives you a choice of a golf clubhouse or a pub room, and Main Beach has a beachfront club. Team size and tone will usually settle it.

Line up your team against each suburb:

Arundel suits large or lively groups: Hound & Stag Brewing Co runs from garden sections for 20 to full hire for 600.
Southport's golf option suits a mid-sized or very large team: Southport Golf Club takes 50 to 60 seated upstairs or up to 500 standing in the clubhouse.
Southport's pub option suits a smaller team on a budget: the Function Room @ Ferry Road Tavern has canapés from $20 per person.
Main Beach suits a small team wanting the beach: Southport Surf Club has a balcony room for 50 and a hall for 100.
Golf clubs and breweries give very different parties, so decide whether your team wants speeches or music.

Ferry Road Tavern packages need at least 20 guests, with bar tabs or a cash bar as other choices.
Southport Golf Club canapés are from $38 per person, and plated meals are on the menu.
Southport Surf Club has no drinks packages, so a set bar tab is the usual route against its minimum spend.
Hound & Stag Brewing Co quotes food packages through its events team once you've sent numbers.

Extras that separate the Broadwater options

A golf day can be added at Southport Golf Club for a fuller team event.
Monday and Tuesday events are possible for exclusive bookings at the Arundel brewery.
A dance floor comes with the Pavilion Hall at the Main Beach club.
Projector and screen options exist at Ferry Road Tavern and Southport Golf Club for an annual wrap-up.
