About Party Cruises Gold Coast
Party Cruises Gold Coast keeps boat parties simple and casual. Its Mirage Sun 33 is a covered pontoon for up to 23 guests, run by a skipper and a deckhand, so nobody in the group needs a licence or has to stay sober to drive. Each hire is private, so the group has the boat to itself. The set-up is built for a party. There is karaoke, a Bluetooth stereo for your playlist, optional party lighting, a BBQ, a marine toilet and plenty of seating. Crew can cook on the BBQ, and swimming and beach stops can be worked into the day. Routes are flexible. Groups can pick a canal cruise, a river cruise or an island run, or combine them on a longer hire. Landmarks along the way include Sanctuary Cove, Paradise Point, Wave Break Island, South Stradbroke Island, Marina Mirage, HOTA and Surfers Paradise. Daytime, sunset and island cruises are all offered, along with a festive lights cruise. Hens and bucks groups make up a lot of the bookings, alongside birthdays for kids and adults. The quote form also takes corporate events, weddings, engagements, anniversaries, graduations and Christmas parties. Themed parties can be arranged too. How many people fit on the party pontoon?
The Mirage Sun 33 hosts up to 23 guests, with two crew members on top of that. Mention your numbers in your enquiry so the crew can confirm the fit.
Do we need a boat licence to hire it?
No. This is not a self-drive boat, and each hire includes an experienced skipper at the helm, leaving your whole group free to enjoy the party.
What are the rules on food and drinks?
All alcohol is BYO, cans are preferred, and bottled spirits and red wine are not allowed. Bring your own food for the BBQ or order a catered pack.
Where does the boat pick up from?
The boat is moored at the Southport Yacht Club marina. Pick-ups at other jetties along the Gold Coast can be arranged where possible, so ask when you send an enquiry.
Is a deposit or bond required?
Every cruise needs a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure the date. Hens and bucks cruises also carry a $500 security bond.
