About Boattime Yacht Charters
Boattime Yacht Charters suits the big end of a boat party. Its two vessels share a berth at Main Beach and are hired whole for groups from about 20 guests. Sun Goddess is a 34-metre yacht for up to 135, with two bars, a two-level galley and Bose sound. Mermaid Spirit is a three-deck catamaran for up to 150. The team shapes each charter around the event. One starting point is a midday island run with watersports and a BBQ buffet, lasting at least four hours. Another is a three-hour sunset trip with cocktails and canapés, heading north along the Broadwater and returning under the Surfers Paradise skyline. A fully custom plan is also available, and the crew can route it around your day. Weddings can be held on board, with the ceremony on the foredeck and a reception to follow, while flowers, styling, a DJ or band, and photography can all be arranged. Corporate groups can add branding, custom menus and AV for presentations, and the same boats host work Christmas parties, team building and birthdays. Food and drinks come through the boat, as outside food and drinks are not allowed. Catering ranges from grazing boards and platters to buffets and seated dinners, and the bars run on a tab or pay as you go. Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
No, outside food and drinks are not permitted on board. Catering is arranged in advance through the boat's culinary partners, and each vessel has two bars.
Can we hold a wedding ceremony on board?
Yes. Ceremonies can take place on the foredeck with the Broadwater behind you, followed by a reception. The team can suggest celebrants and coordinate flowers and styling.
Where does the boat leave from?
Both vessels board at Marine Stadium Jetty and Pontoon in Main Beach, where free parking is available. Check the signs when you park, and maxi taxis work well for big groups.
Are the boats accessible for guests with limited mobility?
The charters are not wheelchair accessible and boarding involves a step up from the pontoon. Exceptions may be possible with at least a week of notice, but electric wheelchairs cannot come aboard.
