Brooksy Bar is the Amora Hotel Jamison's bar, a few minutes from Wynyard in the CBD, and its character comes from the booths — intimate seating that breaks a compact floorplan into semi-private pockets rather than one open room, so a group of 30 doesn't feel lost and a group of 100 still has somewhere to sit. The fit-out leans dark and warm: timber panelling, brass-accent lighting, mirrored surfaces and window drapery giving the room depth. There's a dedicated bar counter for your event and a compact dance area, plus a PA system and speakers. You can bring your own DJ or run your own music, subject to a noise restriction, and the room is soundproofed. It holds 100 standing or 55 seated, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, step-free access and wheelchair-accessible toilets. Sessions typically run in the evening, from 5pm, and the hotel's kitchen handles food.
