VR Gaming Miranda virtual reality in Sydney - group bookings

From $50 min spend

Birthday parties, team-building sessions and school holiday groups can all be booked here, with casual walk-in play too.

How to Choose Virtual Reality

For Shire families and workplaces, virtual reality doesn't have to mean a trip across Botany Bay. VR Gaming Miranda trades inside Westfield Miranda, the big shopping centre in the middle of the Sutherland Shire, which keeps it within reach of Cronulla, Caringbah, Sutherland and Menai.

It's a multiplayer venue made for groups, with more than 20 rides and attractions, VR laser tag and a VR escape room among them, paid for with game-card credits rather than timed slots.

Weighing it up for a Shire group:

Getting there: the train line reaches Miranda, whose station sits a short stroll from Westfield, and drivers get plenty of centre parking.
Who it suits: ages 5 and up, so school-age kids and adults can share the floor.
Organised groups: team building, corporate events, school excursions and vacation care all get tailored packages.
Cost: game cards start from $50 minimum spend.
Timing: doors open on Thursday evenings and from Friday through Sunday.

Against a drive into the city, the pull is convenience: a group from anywhere in the Shire can meet at one well-known centre, play, then eat without changing venues. The catch is the short trading week, so weekday groups need to aim for Thursday evening.

Miranda sits between the beach suburbs around Cronulla and inland suburbs such as Sutherland and Menai.
Outside the beach strip, parking across the Shire is plentiful, so car-pooling works well.
Rail-line suburbs can reach Miranda station without driving at all.
A meal before or after can be had in the same centre.
