About Benda Party Bus

The Benda Party Bus started at the beginning of 2014, when its owners set out to put a Las Vegas style party bus on Sydney streets. There are two vehicles, a 22-seater and a larger 30-seater, and both are fitted out as a mobile nightclub rather than a coach. Inside there is quilted leather lounge seating with seatbelts, a Kicker stereo, three 32-inch screens, RGB and strobe lighting, a pair of dance poles, a bar stocked with glassware, stainless steel grab handles and a bin chute. The 30-seater also carries an onboard toilet. Bookings are priced by the hour with a one-hour minimum, and the company recommends a group of at least 15 people. A one-hour transfer on the 22-seater starts at $950 for bucks, hens, birthday and venue transfers, or $1150 on the 30-seater, with club night transfers slightly lower at $900 and $1100. Races, school formal and festival transfers are charged per head instead, from $55 per person per hour, with kids bookings from $50 and Christmas and New Year transfers from $70. Trips can be one way or return, and groups can keep driving or park the bus up. Every booking includes soft drinks, water, ice and plastic cups, plus a driver working under the company's NSW operator accreditation, number 39881. Benda is not licensed to sell alcohol, so over-18 groups bring their own, in cans or plastic cups only and never glass. No alcohol is carried on school formals, socials or any under-18 booking, and a parent or guardian signs the terms before departure. Pickups cover Sydney metro plus Parramatta, Liverpool, Campbelltown and North Sydney. A $500 holding deposit is due within 48 hours of booking, with the balance seven days before the trip.

Club night transfers start at $900 on the 22-seater and $1100 on the 30-seater, with the return price depending on the pickup time from the club or bar. Randwick and Rosehill races transfers, school formal transfers and festival transfers start at $55 per person per hour. Christmas and New Year transfers start from $70 per person per hour, and the kids party bus package from $50 per person per hour. Unscheduled additional time is charged at $100 per additional hour. Card payments carry a 2 per cent processing fee.

The larger Benda bus seats 30 and the smaller one seats 22. Benda recommends at least 15 people per booking for the pricing to work out sensibly, and only the 30-seater carries an onboard toilet.

Is there a minimum hire time?

Yes, one hour. If the night runs longer than booked, unscheduled extra time is charged at $100 per additional hour, and the driver can decline to extend if another booking is waiting on the bus.
