Wedding Reception Venues in Narrabeen

Choosing the Right Wedding Reception Venue

Casual is the key word for a Narrabeen wedding. Cabana Beach Kiosk suits a laid-back beachside reception, with the whole place hired for your guests, and Narrabeen Sands Hotel counts wedding receptions among its regular functions, with rooms for up to 120 and accommodation upstairs for the bridal party and out-of-town family.

Reception layouts across the two venues:

Up to 30 seated at Cabana Beach Kiosk, or 50 for a cocktail-style celebration, from $50 per person
30 to 40 at Driftwood Corner, a sectioned-off area for a seated wedding dinner
30 to 50 on The Terrace, an alfresco space looking out towards the ocean
Up to 120 in the Ocean Bar Function Room, from $500 minimum spend
An upstairs room with a private balcony for 40, for a quieter drinks hour before dinner

Couples who want the waves in every photo lean towards the kiosk; those with a longer guest list and relatives to house will find the hotel easier.

Cabana's festoon lighting and fairy lights take over from the sunset for an evening reception
The kiosk's PA system handles the speeches and the first dance song
The Ocean Bar Function Room's sliding windows open the room to the outdoors
The Terrace's retractable roof means the reception isn't at the mercy of the weather
