Joey Presto is a children's magician based in Sydney who has been performing since he was 18, after a visit to a magic shop in the United States set him off. More than 25 years and thousands of shows later, the act is a comedy magic show aimed squarely at children: fast, funny and interactive, with kids pulled up to help make the magic happen throughout. The signature moment is the appearance of a live rabbit, which every child gets to pat once the show is over. The standard booking is a 60-minute comedy magic show, and that hour includes the rabbit patting at the end. A shorter version is available on request, and for groups of children under five the show can be cut to 30 minutes. The second option adds balloon twisting: Joey twists dogs, swords, laser guns, flowers, love hearts, giraffes and rabbits for the children to take home, which brings the total to roughly 75 to 90 minutes depending on how many are there.
