About My Perfect Party
My Perfect Party is a family-run party styling and planning business, trading since 2010 and registered in Cronulla. It started with parties at home and still does a lot of them: the team turns a house or backyard into a styled party space, handles the setup on the day and comes back the next day to pack up and clean up. It also styles parties at venues, and works on corporate events, launches and fundraisers. The business has teams in other states too, but its Sydney work is run by founder Allison Barrett. The main service is decorating and styling, quoted to your theme and budget. You send your ideas, inspiration photos or a Pinterest board, and the team puts together a quote. That can cover backdrops, balloons, neon signs, furniture, lighting, props and themed decor. Themes range from Great Gatsby and 70s disco to children's favourites like Bluey and Frozen. A separate table styling service sets each place with a charger plate, cutlery, premium glassware, linen, candles and small florals, and the team will match the plates to your chef's menu. For a home cocktail party, there is a package covering furniture hire, bar setup, glassware, lighting and simple florals. There are also picnic setups with low tables, rugs and cushions. Styling has a minimum spend, which is higher in November and December. The team also offers party planning, coordination and venue sourcing if you want more than styling. It takes on detailed bookings within six months of the party date and will pencil in earlier enquiries until then. It suits hosts planning milestone birthdays, showers and engagement parties at home who want the setup and clean-up handled for them.

How much does party styling with My Perfect Party cost?
Styling is quoted to each party, with a minimum styling spend of $2,000. From November to December the minimum rises to $3,500 plus GST. Their prices are quoted plus GST.
What does the table styling package include?
Tablecloth, napkins, a placemat or charger plate, plates and cutlery matched to your menu, wine, water and champagne glasses, and small florals with candles. It costs $55 per person, or from $45 per person for 30 or more guests, plus $350 for delivery, setting and next-day pack-up.
How far ahead should I book?
They take on detailed planning and bookings within six months of the party date. If your party is further away, they will note your date and contact you at about the six-month mark. They will also try to help with short-notice parties.
Do they pack up after the party?
Yes. For home parties, the team sets up on the day and returns the next day to pack up and clean up. The cocktail party package excludes mopping floors and rubbish removal.
Can they help with more than styling?
Yes. They also offer party planning and coordination, from a $395 in-home consultation to full planning at a venue or at home, plus a $550 venue sourcing service. They can arrange catering, entertainment and furniture hire through their suppliers.
