Star DJ Hire is a DJ and entertainment company headquartered in the Sydney CBD, with a team of around 75 DJs that also covers Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra. Sydney is its home base and has the largest share of the team, including more than 25 wedding DJs. The company has played over 6,000 weddings, engagements, corporate functions, private parties and school formals, and regularly works at venues such as Doltone House, Le Montage and Oatlands House. Wedding bookings cover the DJ and MC working together, ceremony music, and sound and lighting for the reception. Corporate packages suit product launches, Christmas and end-of-year parties, gala dinners, awards nights and conferences, with background sets through the formalities and a dance floor once speeches finish; clients have included Mercedes-Benz, Deloitte, KPMG and UNSW. Private party work spans 18ths, 21sts, milestone birthdays, engagements, bar and bat mitzvahs and debuts, and the team plays school formals at function centres, university halls and on boats. Packages include all required equipment with no hidden extras: a DJ matched to your brief, a sound system sized to the room, event and dance floor lighting and wireless microphones. Every booking is assigned an event manager who coordinates logistics with your venue, helps with playlists and supplies insurance certificates on request, and backup DJs and equipment are held for every event. Add-ons include photo booths, upgraded AV and lighting design, and acoustic duos, vocalists and saxophonists. They cover Sydney and the surrounding region.
