About Curious George

Curious George is a 12 metre Cougar Cat that brings a relaxed, tropical vibe to Sydney Harbour charters. With capacity for 33 guests, the open deck is fitted with fake grass and tropical plants, plus a rain cover so your party can keep going whatever the weather does. A galley kitchen with fridge and sink, along with a toilet onboard, keeps things comfortable, while the onboard BBQ makes catering easy. The sound system runs on two 12 inch PA speakers with enough grunt to plug in your own DJ decks, so you can curate the soundtrack for your day. When it's time to cool off, double swim steps at the rear give easy access to the water, and you can add a complimentary 6 metre Bullfrog Lilypad on request for extra fun on the harbour. Whether you're planning a birthday, work function or milestone celebration, Curious George offers a laid-back, good-looking setting for a day or night on the water.

Pricing

Charters on Curious George start at $600 per hour with a minimum booking length of 4 hours. If you'd like to load decorations or set up before your charter begins, this is available as the first booking of the day at Mosman Bay or Lavender Bay (45 minutes prior, $75 fee) or Rose Bay (60 minutes prior, $100 fee).

Food

Curious George gives you plenty of flexibility with food. You're welcome to bring your own food onboard, or take advantage of the onboard BBQ facility, BBQ menu or canape and platter menu. Table dining is available, and plates and cutlery are provided if you go the BYO food route.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO only aboard Curious George. Disposable cups are supplied, and you'll need to bring your own ice for the esky.

Wharfs & Availability

Curious George is available for charter every day of the week, though it's best to check the real-time calendar for availability. Charters run for a standard 4 hours, with daytime bookings preferably starting between 11.00am and 12.00pm (up to 1.30pm depending on availability), and charters generally wrapping up by 10.00pm at the latest.

The main pick-up point is Convention Wharf at Darling Harbour, with Crown Towers at Barangaroo also a popular choice. King St Wharf in the CBD, along with Lavender Bay Wharf, Taronga Zoo, Rose Bay, Double Bay and Mosman Bay, are available subject to availability, as is pick-up from Manly. Other wharves around Sydney Harbour can also be arranged subject to availability, though additional fees may apply.
