About Noosa Wave Ocean Adventures
Noosa Wave Ocean Adventures runs its trips from the Noosa Whale & Dolphin Centre jetty in Noosaville. The owner runs the business himself, and the boat is an 11-metre vessel with a deep-V hull that glides over waves rather than slamming into them, powered by twin low-emission Yamaha engines. It carries a full sun canopy, a private marine toilet, swim ladders, refrigeration and gear for landing on beaches. The Thrilling Dolphin Adventure is a fast 1.5-hour ride along the Noosa Heads National Park coastline, with a chance to see dolphins, turtles and manta rays, and only 18 seats on board. Whale watching runs daily from June to November, with commentary and a dedicated whale spotter. Snorkel trips to the National Park suit confident swimmers aged 14 and over, and whale swims from July to October are open to those aged 16 and up. Groups can also charter the whole boat for as long as they like, on the river or out at sea. The operator names weddings, hens and bucks parties, birthdays, corporate functions and beach landings among its charters, and there is a large sound system on board. River charters take up to 25 passengers and ocean charters up to 18, and skipper Andrew brings more than 35 years in the industry. Send an enquiry to plan a charter.
