About Noosa River & Canal Cruises
Noosa River & Canal Cruises is a local family-run business operating from Jetty 186 in Noosaville. Its daytime and sunset cruises each take about two and a half hours, looping past the river mouth, into the Noosa Sound canals and around Weyba Creek and Woods Bay. Skippers keep up a running commentary on local history, waterfront homes and the wildlife along the banks. The boat is open plan, with comfortable seating, room to mingle and a top deck for the views, and it is designed to sit lightly on the river ecosystem. A fully licensed bar is on board, and guests on the shared cruises can bring their own snacks or lunch but not alcohol. An eco tour, offered as a private charter, heads up past Lake Cooroibah towards the Noosa Everglades when the tide allows, with catering available for any meal. For celebrations, the whole boat can be chartered for up to 38 guests. The operator lists birthdays, anniversaries, hens parties, family reunions, work functions, Christmas parties and weddings among the groups it hosts, along with picnic cruises that stop at a sandbank for a swim. Charters include a skipper, glassware, a clothed table, a Bluetooth sound system and rubbish removal. Send an enquiry to book a group.
