About Greg Doney
Greg Doney is a singer, acoustic guitarist and DJ based on the Sunshine Coast. He has played hundreds of wedding receptions, both large and small, on the beach, in Noosa and up in the hinterland, and he also brings his music to corporate functions. Greg can perform on his own for a ceremony, team up with one other musician as a guitar and vocal duo, or front a dance band of up to six. His regular players cover lead and backing vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, saxophone, drums, percussion and Hammond organ and keys, so a bigger booking gets a full live sound. He sings across rock, pop, country and blues and is happy to learn a few songs that matter to the couple. One booking can cover the whole day – music while guests arrive and during the ceremony, relaxed sets over dinner, then dancing well into the night. If you would rather finish with recorded music, he can switch to a DJ playlist for the dance floor. Greg brings all of the professional sound and lighting equipment, so the venue only needs to supply the space and power. Greg does not publish prices. Share your date, venue, the size of the line-up you have in mind and which parts of the day need music, and he will put together a quote.
