About Mandurah Cruises
Mandurah Cruises is a family-owned cruise operator based in central Mandurah, with a ticket office on Mandurah Terrace and departures from its jetty at Mandjar Square. The crew are locals who know the area's dolphins as individuals through the business's research partnership with Murdoch University. The Dolphin Cruise and Views is the signature trip, a little over an hour through Mandjar Bay, the canals and the marina. The estuary holds around 90 resident bottlenose dolphins, and a free return trip is offered whenever a cruise fails to sight them. The longer Giant and Dolphin Sightseeing Cruise runs two and a half hours with a marine biologist, heading into protected wetlands and through the Dawesville Cut to see one of the Giants of Mandurah. Other trips include a Murray River lunch cruise, lobster seafood experiences, sunset cruises and self-drive barbecue boats. For work groups, the boats can be hired privately when they are not on scheduled runs. Functions cruise a route of the group's choosing for up to three hours with a private crew, a licensed bar and catering, for up to 65 guests, and the functions team handles the arrangements. The main dolphin boat seats 80, is wheelchair friendly and sells drinks and snacks. A fish and chips lunch from Cicerello's can be added to the late-morning departure.

Can we hire a boat for a corporate event?
Yes. The boats can be chartered privately for corporate events and other functions, cruising your own route for up to three hours with a private crew, a licensed bar and catering for up to 65 guests.
What happens if we do not see any dolphins?
The dolphin cruises come with a guarantee. If your cruise does not sight dolphins, you can travel again free of charge within 12 months, as many times as it takes, subject to availability.
How long is the dolphin cruise and when does it leave?
The Dolphin Cruise and Views runs for about an hour to an hour and a quarter. The main boat leaves four times a day, from 10am through to a 3pm departure, with extra times when it is busy.
Is there food and drink on board?
The main dolphin boats are licensed and sell drinks and snacks. A Cicerello's fish and chips lunch can be pre-ordered for the 11.30am departure, with battered fish and chips at $16.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancelling more than 14 days ahead earns a full refund less card fees, and cancelling with 72 hours to 14 days to go returns half the fare. Inside 72 hours, or for no-shows, the fare is not refunded.
