About Wild Feathers Creative
Wild Feathers Creative is the Perth wedding videography and photography partnership of Alex and Sophie. They tell the story of a wedding day as it happens, staying in the background so couples and their guests can relax and act naturally rather than posing for the camera. Their films lean towards a bold, colourful and documentary feel. Digital footage is cut together with Super 8 film, giving the finished highlight video a grainy, nostalgic texture alongside the emotional moments – the vows, the speeches and the dancing late into the night. Photography follows the same approach, with the higher packages mixing digital frames and film photographs. Packages are set out in three levels for video and three for photos, so couples can book either service or combine the two with one team. Add-ons include a short teaser clip delivered about a week after the wedding, the ceremony edited in full, the speeches edited in full, extra coverage hours and extra rolls of Super 8. A Super 8-only film, with no digital video, can be added to a photography package. The pair cover weddings around Perth, from city warehouses and backyard celebrations to Swan Valley wineries, and smaller elopement-style days can be quoted on lighter coverage.
